Hi Fellow Grant Writers! I too am submitting a grant request for RR,RR due this Monday. Since my school is 100% mac, I am hoping to do a "pseudo-RR,RR" by ordering the Dacta supplies and using our QuickCam with my Mac Quadra 660 AV. I phoned the Dacta folks and was told I need the #0942 Control Lab Starter Kit ( $625 ) plus 2 - #9852 chain Link packs ( $18.75 each ). My questions are these - Does this sound feasible? Will I be able to view the QuickCam window on my monitor while simultaneously controlling the rover? I realize that this set-up would prevent me from being an actual "Mars Site", but just doing this in-house seems like it would have real merit. Any suggestions from anyone who has already approached it in this manner? Tim ..............................................................................
