I don't remember seeing this resource anywhere in our discussions, so I thought I'd share it. The Astronomical Society of the Pacific offers The Universe in the Classroom Newsletter. Newsletters are available free of charge to teachers, school librarians, school administrators, and youth group leaders who request it on institutional stationery. Address to: Teachers' Newsletter Department 390 Ashton Avenue San Francisco, CA 94112 Their Web site has articles from past newsletters. I would recommend reading the one called "What If the Moon Didn't Exist?" - very thought provoking! The latest issue has a neat article on light. There are Mars articles online as well - URL is: http://www.physics.sfsu.edu/asp/tnl/tnl.html The Astronomical Society of the Pacific is: http://cannon.sfsu.edu/asp/ Roger Stryker <regor@tenet.edu> ------------------------------------------------------------------ Educator - Grade 5 Williams Elementary - Austin, Texas Project: http://marple.as.utexas.edu/~WebSci Class: science@tenet.edu **Join Us!** ------------------------------------------------------------------
