QUESTION:
If the problem of Pathfinder is with the cold now because of the failure of
the batteries and the nearing winter, would it be possible if the Pathfinder
mission is stopped and then continued when summer comes again?

The Martian summer will raise temperatures on the surface and perhaps make
communications possible again. However, if some of the hardware has broken
as a result of temperature extremes, then the arriving summer will not fix
the problem. Also the Martian year is almost twice the length of the Earth
year, so the time until Summer is many months away.
