How can schools get better notification of change of plans from NASA so
that we can plan with our staff and students?

One way is to look periodically at our home page. It is updated as
soon as something happens. 

Also, as it relates to the Live From Mars project, the best way is to
join our email list.  All important events about the project
(like new WebChats, rebroadcasts of the TV program, etc) are
sent out to folks who have signed up for the list.  To join, send
and email message to:
  listmanager@quest.arc.nasa.gov
In the message body, write these words:
  subscribe updates-lfm
