Does the rover carry or have a message for "aliens" about who built it ?

ANSWER from Mark Adler on July 21, 1997:
Not exactly.  It does have inscribed inside the names of the people who
built the rover and maybe a few others.  Perhaps more of a message for other
people than for aliens.
