Do you study the pH levels of the rain and snowfall? If yes, have you
noticed great increases or decreases?

Dear Nick,

 We do not measure the pH levels of the precipitation at Palmer
Station.  My *guess* is that pH changes would be minimal because
of the almost complete lack of industry and mechanization on the
Antarctic continent and its significant physical separation from
the significant population centers of the world.

Thanks for your question.  I wish I could give more definitive
information on pH levels.
