QUESTION:  How big is or was the biggest iceberg you've
seen in Antarctica?

Dear Laura, 

In answer to your question,Laura, the largest iceberg that 
I have personally seen was approximately 1 mile by  1/2 mile and 75 ft 
tall. Much larger have and do calve off the main ice sheets last 
year.  We had one one satellite that measured 30 X 50 miles and there 
have been larger ones still.
