QUESTION:
I would like to know if the Polar Duke pollutes the 
waters around Antarctica with its fuel.

Dear Carlito,

Not at all.  All fuel aboard is consumed by the vessel.  We have had no 
fuel or oil spills of which I am aware.  If this were to occur however, 
the vessel and Palmer Station are equipped with special spill containment 
gear to prevent the spread of any hazardous materials.
