QUESTION:
Is there a significant amount of gas still in the water from 
that spill?  (Bahia Paraiso)

    As you know, the Bahia Paraiso hit a reef near Palmer Station and
    sank 3 days later, spilling 600 tons of fuel into the water.  Where
    the ship now lies, one can see small fuel bubbles still leaking
    out of the ship into the water.  That tells us there is still
    fuel in the ship, but we really have no way of knowing how
    much.
